I'm a day late this week. It's been nuts around here this week, so I apologize. Things should be slowing down a bit so I should be able to post more often.
This week's Payday Shuffle.
Due:
Rent (all of July)
Tags for the van
Groceries
Gasoline
Medicine for Hubby and me
Van Payment
Income:
I put in for some vacation time on this check, and will do so for subsequent checks until it's used up. We figured, get it in now, use the money to get the little things we still need for the baby, and catch up on the bills before I go on maternity leave. I've got 120 hours of vacation to use, so that will last around 6 weeks (or 3 checks). Other than that, it's our normal income.
Shuffle:
1. Rent paid almost half of July
2. Tags paid
3. Groceries - hoping to spend $50 or less, shopping is later today
4. Gasoline - only put in a small amount in the truck since we have to give it back to my dad this weekend. Dad filled up the van on Thursday for us (so we could all go to the fair with him way up in the boonies) so no gas needed for the van this week.
5. Meds - should be about $70, will be paid today
6. Van payment - paid
We have some money left over after paying what's due. Using that money to purchase some baby supplies, hoping to pick up the bassinet today, but will have to wait until after we get the groceries to make sure we have enough. :)
The adventures of the Salesman's Family of 7 (soon to be!). A little blog about how to be a salesman's family frugally and responsibly...and all the wackiness that comes with it!
